Most Funded Research Topics at George Mason University

I think that almost every university publishes its grants on its web page. like this. https://volgenau.gmu.edu/research/grants . I am a George Mason Data Science Graduate Student. One of the courses I took in GMU in my masters in Data Science was Data Visualization. The first project assignment was to take a database like the one in that link and re-visualize it. Design a visualization that follows the rules taught in class, that confirmed maximum visual cognition. In simple words, you see it once and you get the answer to your question. You ponder on it , and you don’t feel dizzy. My question was “Which is the hottest research topic in GMU?!”. I defined hottest to be one getting most research funding. The visualization was clear cut. You can see the grants sorted by amount , and hence you can see the outliers. Obviously I am not interested in the bulk of grants that did not win much money and I am more into the ones that won so much. This visual had my question answered.
